Introducing Vision, the revolutionary new tool that allows you to see into inaccessible places. Based on innovative new fiber optic technology, the flexible cable fits into holes as small as 1/2 inch (5,8mm.) in diameter - allowing you to look behind walls, down into drains, inside engines or hundreds of other places without costly demolition or disassembly!

Designed for up close focusing in tight places, the high resolution lens provides a clear image of objects a mere 3/4" away while providing a wide, 40 degree field of view. A powerful halogen lamp illuminates dark crevices on-demand with the push of a button conveniently located on the handle. The ergonomically designed handle is comfortable to hold and allows one-handed focusing and light activation.

Rugged and water resistant, Vision products are made of high impact ABS and flexible cable sheathing that obediently stays in a set position. Adjust the cable into any position and it will stay fixed in places, until you decide to change it. This feature permits one-handed operation freeing your other hand to work!

How does Vision Work?

The remarkable Vision flexible fiber optic scope is made possible by the use of thousands of tightly packed plastic fibers aligned coherently - both ends are positioned exactly the same relative to each other. This coherent bundle of fibers transfers high quality images from a fixed object to a focusable eyepiece assembly. When activated, light from a source in the handle travels via a continuous light guide down the cable to the tip of the scope to illuminate the viewing area. Although the cable is filled with fibers, it can be bent repeatedly to a radius of 8" without damage.

Operation

Grip handle with one hand and maneuver cable into position with the other while looking through the eyepiece. Rotate focus ring until image appears clear. For dark areas, activate light by pressing and holding down light activation button on top of handle.

Batteries

Vision products use two (2) AA batteries (not included). Batteries must be inserted with both contacts facing the same direction.

Precautions

• Avoid over-bending the shaft. (Over-bending will void Warranty).
• Do not submerse the handle in any liquid.
• Do not immerse the shaft in any solvent for extended periods.
• Do not use in the proximity of live electrical circuits.
• Do not use in explosive environments.
• Not intended for Medical or Veterinary use.
• Storage and Operating Temperatures -10 to 120 F

VISION UV Leak Detection Scope

Why settle for just a flashlight to find your leaks when you can have a powerful UV light source that's also a magnified borescope!
Don’t just look for leaks on the surface...look for them inside the engine and underneath components. The Vision PV-300UV has been tested and works with all the standard leak detection dyes.

Applications:

• Search for Internal leaks - blown head gaskets. Use Vision UV to look for leaks underneath the fitting.
