The FTR-TEL is similar in performance to the CTR-TEL, and will detect a telephone tap, without disrupting the tapping device. The design of this telephone tap detector is a result of over 16 years of grueling research.
The FTR-TEL will provide a warning of a telephone tap with both an audible and visual signal. This tap detector can be calibrated for maximum sensitivity on the respective telephone line. The exterior of the unit is shaped like a doorstop to enable the user to wedge the device on a wall telephone, or on a desk for easy access.
It is line powered at a max of 1MW and compatible with residential telephones, commercial, PBX, FAX and DSL lines. As an added feature, the FTR-TEL has a mute and hold button to accommodate your telephone needs at home, office or while traveling.
