The Micro Audio and Video Recorder AVR-2 records 1 channel of video and 1 channel of audio information on a regular compact flash card. The recorder has extremely small size (65x54x15mm), even less than a regular cigarette pack.
The embed rechargeable battery makes it perfect for portable and mobile applications. Very low power consumption provides with up to 6 hours operation in record mode. The recorder supports maximum resolution 704x288 (PAL) or 704x240 (NTSC) and features wide range of software options such as motion detector, VAS, tuning of audio and video recording parameters.
The recorder is powered with a quite capacious rechargeable Li-Pol battery which provides 6 hours operation in record mode and 1 year in stand-by mode. Even supplying an external camera from the recorder we can get 2-5 hours operation in record mode, depending on power consumption of a camera. This model is ideal for autonomous applications where the long lasted battery life is critical.
The internal compression format is Wavelet. The output file is in *.avi format. At decoding a user can select a codec and setup its parameters. Date/time stamp and watermark protection makes the recorder useful for evidence purposes.
