DVR-Remote-500 is a miniaturized video recorder, a professional recording system which thanks to its compact size is a perfect solution for covert recordings, such as evidence gathering for a trial, but also for leisure, in situations like a sports event or a candid camera video.
DVR-Remote-500, within a few inches (it is smaller than, and can be concealed into, a cigarette pack) can store up to 16 hours of MPEG4 video footage, on a SD 16GB memory card (not supplied), and can be taken along in any occasion without arising unwanted and unnecessary attention.
Its size may be small, but his features and performances are not. In fact, it can record MPEG4 DivX movies, with a 640*544 PAL resolution, at a rate of 25 frames per second. These characteristics make for a perfect full-screen viewing experience, at DVD-like quality.
The recording mode can be programmed with 3 possible options: manual, programmed and Motion Detection. It is equipped with AV output plug, to connect the video recorder directly to a TV or a monitor. It can also be connected to a PC via a USB cable. The AVI DivX file format ensures compatibility with any type of media player.
DVR-Remote-500 gives the best when teamed up with CA-EN high resolution camera, perfect for covert operations thanks to its hidden viewer. Just plug the camera cable into the recorder, and the camera will be powered directly through the recorder itself. By doing this, you can create a real video recording system, prefect for being concealed inside small objects or in the fron pocket of your jacket or overcoat, and used in case of need.
DVR-Remote-500 is powered with a Li-Ion battery (2 rechargeable batteries are supplied, along with charger) or by direct connection into the mains. Battery can also be used to power the CA-EN camera, and provides up to 70 minutes continuous recording time, which can be extended by 1 to 5 hours thanks to the BA-EN-500 extension battery pack. If powered directly from the electricity mains, recording time is unlimited (depending on available memory space, of course), and DVR-Remote-500 can act as a surveillance camera.
