WI-FI ROBOT WITH AN INTEGRATED WEBCAM
We have the pleasure of introducing the first intelligent cam-robot, equipped with an IP webcam that can be remotely controlled, and is capable of transmitting audio and video feeds in real time, thanks to an Internet connection and to a laptop or a 3G mobile phone. With this technologically advanced cam-robot, it is possible to carry out a surveillance and monitoring operation, both audio and video, even if you are thousand miles away, and keep eyes on your home, your office or any environment 
with a wi-fi coverage. Furthermore, the cam-robot can send acoustic alerts that can be heard by anyone walking or standing nearby.
This robot-cam is equipped with a VGA IP pan-and-tilt camera which is programmed to automatically select "waypoints”, preset points which identify a pattern within a room, and the camera will automatically follow this pattern automatically. The operating time of the robot cam is approximately an hour and a half. In order to recharge its battery, it would need to return to its docking station. This return can either be performed manually, by sending a remote command from a remote PC or palmtop, or programmed automatically, thanks to a sensor which will order the robot to go back to the dock as soon as it detects a low battery.The cam robot can also be equipped with a headlight, to be able to move in the dark.
