The ENKPL-TD transmitter is used to transmit encrypted audio information, by using a landline telephone cable.
The product applies the adaptive-delta modulation (ADM) method for encryption of the audio informations. When ENKPL-TD is connected on a subscriber telephone line, it does not interfere with the normal operation of the telephone set which can normally dial and ring, and does not affect the overall quality of the communication.
The data signal is generated via a compact ENKPL-TD transmitter. ENKPL-TD is designed as a small module with an external microphone and lead-out wires used for parallel connection to the landline. The operating power is supplied directly from the DC 6-60 V line cable.
ENKPL-TD informations receiver is housed in a metal case. The receiver features a battery compartment with housing for four rechargeable AAA batteries (1.2 V) or four AAA alkaline cells (1.5 V). As an alternative, it can also be powered from an external power supply unit. When the external power supply is plugged in, the batteries are automatically disconnected to prevent unwanted consumption.
The connection of receiver to the telephone line can be done in two ways:
- parallel to the line;
- serial connection with the second subscriber line, switched with the first via a ENKPL-BUK switcher & amplifier unit.
ENKPL-BUK amplifier & switcher unit is used to amplify and transmit the intelligence from one line to the other, bypassing the ATX switchboard.
ENKPL-BUK is also housed in a metal case, and can be connected in the following ways:
All controls and switches are clearly marked for easy installation.
ENKPL-BUK (Dimensions50x50x15mm) is powered either from the telephone line or from an external power supply.
