USB DVR-PEN is a pen which contains a videocamera and a videorecorder. It features the smallest high-resolution real time recording digital camera ever produced.

Here we are not just talking about a normal pen with a built-in miniature camera, with low cost and low quality, one of the kind that you can find pretty much anywhere on the digital electronics marketplace. This is rather a real professional video recording device, albeit in a small size, designed mostly for government and law enforcement agencies, and more generally for those who need to gather valid evidence to be used before a court of law. DVR-PEN can record high resolution videos in real time, thanks to its hidden micro video camera, by just pressing a button. Recordings are saved on its USB internal memory, on a MicroSD that is inserted in the internal slot simply unscrewing the pen. The recordings can be viewed at a later time by directly connecting the DVR-PEN, via cable supplied, to a computer's USB port, or by removing the MicroSD containing the recordings in "AVI"format compatible with all players on the market.

Its built-in battery is rechargeable via USB cable, and battery life allows to record up to 3 hours in one go.The DVR-PEN unique features allow you to record also in "motion detection" mode or "continuous power" to video recordings with much longer duration.
