Power converter for AVR
The voltage converter for video camera (further
referred to as the unit) is designed to be connected to
AVR video recorders. The unit is a voltage converter, which
allows the video camera to be powered from the AVR power
source, and generates voltage of 12 V (200 mA) on its output.
The output has a connector for the video camera. Besides,
the unit includes an input connector which completely replicates
the one on the video recorder, and makes it possible to
use an external microphone and remote control. Therefore,
the user may have a stand-alone system to record video and
audio without using any additional power supply units for
the video camera.
Connecting the Power converter for AVR
With the unit connected, the AVR cannot
be recharged during recording, as the battery discharges
faster than the unit charges from the charging unit when
the video camera operates. The charging unit, supplied with
the AVR, switches off under these conditions. One should
remember, that any external units connected to the AVR,
consume additional energy from the battery. Thus, it is
strongly recommended to switch off external units from the
AVR in order to avoid excessive battery discharging and
its failure. It is not recommended to use video cameras
with useful current consumption exceeding 200 mA, as it may
cause premature battery failure. To prepare the unit for
operation connect the OUT cable to the AVR connector, then
connect the video camera output to the IN connector (the
cable from the AVR delivery set or Remote control+external
microphone accessory can be used for this purpose), and connect
the 12 V cable to the video camera supply connector. Now
recording can be made. To record you should follow the video
recorder manual. To decrease energy consumption from the
AVR battery, the video camera is supplied only at recording
on. All other time the converter is switched off (and the
video camera is not supplied). We should remind once again, that it is necessary to disconnect all the external units from the video recorder in pauses in recording, and to charge
the battery in time as well.
Specifications:
- Peak load current: 200 mA;
- DC output voltage: 12V +/-10%;
- Input connector basing completely coincides with the same
connector on the AVR;
Integrated external microphone with compressor + remote control unit for AVR
This optional device
is intended for use with the audio video recorders AVR. The
device is external microphone with compressor integrated
with remote control and video input. External microphone
smoothes sound level when recording is carried out from sound
sources at close and distant range. Thus this enables to
avoid overload when recording is realized at close distance
and amplify the signal at distant ranges. Flexible cable
enables to arrange the microphone at the suitable-to-record
place and remote control unit simplifies recording process.
Car charger for AVR
The car battery charger for the AVR (herein after referred
to as the unit) is designed for connection of the AVR video
recorder to the car on-board power supply system. It is a
charging unit, which can be charged from the car on-board
power supply system (or another external DC power supply unit)
of 7-28V. The unit provides complete AVR battery charge within
5-6 hours or its recharge during recording. The unit includes
two LEDs to indicate the charging process and a cable to be
connected to the power supply. Besides, it has a USB mini-B
connector, which fully replicates that on the video recorder
and enables various AVR accessories (e.g. an external microphone
and remote control) to be used with the unit.
Specifications:
- Charging time for completely discharged battery of 1750mA*hr:
5-6hr;
- Supply voltage: 7-28V;
- Maximum current consumption during the battery charge:
250mA;
