Real-Time Tracking and Trip History

GPS-TRACKER-4G lets you check a vehicle’s location while it is in use and review its movements afterward. The integrated GPS receiver determines the position, and the 4G/LTEThe cellular connection used to send tracking data. It is separate from the GPS receiver that determines location. modem transmits tracking data over the cellular network. This gives you remote access to location information without having to retrieve the tracker from the vehicle.

The free smartphone app supports Android and iOS. From the app, you can follow vehicle movements, access trip history and manage the device. An active SIM card and cellular coverage are required to transmit data; GPS reception also depends on the tracker’s placement and surrounding obstructions.

Review Routes, Times and Speeds

Trip history preserves routes together with dates, times and vehicle speeds. Instead of relying on a single location check, you can review where the vehicle traveled and when. This is useful for examining a completed journey, reviewing company vehicle use or documenting movements during an authorized investigation.

Live tracking and historical review serve different purposes: one helps you check the vehicle’s current location, while the other provides a record of earlier trips. Both are available through the same monitoring system.

Location Requests and Setup by SMS

SMS commands provide another way to interact with the tracker. You can request its geographic position or configure settings by sending a text message, without opening the app. This is useful when you need an individual location check rather than a full review of the route.

Movement Alerts, Mounting and Power

The built-in motion sensor can trigger an alert when the vehicle moves. For a parked car, this provides a prompt to check its location rather than repeatedly checking the map. Notifications are available through the app or by SMS.

Know When a Vehicle Enters or Leaves an Area

A geofenceA virtual boundary drawn on a map. The system sends an alert when the tracker enters or leaves the defined area. links an alert to a specific place. Define an area around a depot, parking location or company site, then configure notifications for entry or exit. Movement alerts tell you that the vehicle has moved; geofence alerts identify a crossing of the boundary you set.

Magnetic Mounting Without Vehicle Wiring

Five neodymium magnets attach the unit to a suitable ferrous metal surface. The housing measures 80 × 65 × 22 mm (3.15 × 2.56 × 0.87 in), including the magnets. Its integrated battery allows temporary installation without connecting to the vehicle’s electrical system.

Mounting position matters for both attachment and reception. Choose a suitable mounting surface and check that the tracker can obtain a GPS position and communicate over the cellular network at that location.

Rechargeable Battery and Optional Vehicle Power

The internal 3.7 V, 5,000 mAh lithium battery charges through a 5 V DC Micro USB connection. Battery life can exceed 10 days under ideal conditions. Actual runtime varies with reporting frequency, vehicle movement, cellular reception and settings; this estimate does not mean 10 days of continuous transmission.

For installations where vehicle power is preferred, a 12/24 V DC power option is available on request. Battery operation and external power address different installation needs, so the power configuration can be discussed when ordering.
