UHF telephone transmitters for call monitoring

A UHF telephone bug acquires call audio from a compatible line and sends it by radio to a dedicated receiver. The range includes the ENPTK-093 series transmitter and ENPTK-090 parallel transmitter. Both use telephone line power and activate when the handset is lifted.

For digital transmission with encryption, see the ENPTK-100D digital UHF telephone bug. Select the transmitter together with a receiver that supports its operating frequency, modulation and decoding requirements.

Series, parallel and induction models

The correct line interface is an essential part of selecting your telephone transmitter. Our catalog includes three configurations:

  • Series telephone bugs: models that form part of the telephone line circuit, including the ENPTK-093.
  • Parallel telephone bugs: models that interface across the line, including the ENPTK-090.
  • Induction telephone bugs: the ENPTK-063 uses an inductive sensor to acquire audio without a direct electrical connection and runs on two AA batteries.

Provide your telephone system details when requesting a quote so the line interface and power requirements can be checked for the model you choose.

Audio transmitters that use telephone wiring

For applications that require audio transmission through telephone cable, the ENKPL-TD uses adaptive delta modulation (ADM) and a dedicated receiver. The ENKPL-T carries room audio over telephone wiring using a subcarrier signal, with receiver outputs for headphones and a recorder.

These cable-based systems offer a different transmission path from the UHF radio models. Select them according to the audio source and cable configuration required for your application.

Telephone and room audio in one device

The ENSTK-100D digital UHF transmitter and ENSTK-050 WFM UHF transmitter combine telephone call monitoring with room audio. Both use telephone line power and switch automatically between audio sources according to handset status.

These multifunction telephone bugs are suitable when your system requires both modes. Open the individual product page for its transmission specifications and receiver options.

Landline phone call recording

Choose the EN-TELREC landline phone call recorder when you need stored audio for later playback. It supports microSD storage up to 32 GB, WAV files and loop recording, together with a live GSM listening function where compatible cellular service is available.

Recording can also be part of a transmitter-and-receiver system when the receiver supports recording or provides a suitable output for an external recorder. Request the appropriate accessories with your selected model.

Analog and digital transmission options

The range includes analog and digital audio systems, with UHF radio or telephone cable transmission depending on the product. UHF identifies the radio frequency band; analog and digital describe the signal technology. Digital encoding and encryption are separate specifications.

If protected transmission is a requirement, use the individual product specifications to identify the available method and ask for a compatible receiver configuration. This keeps the transmitter, receiver and recording equipment matched to your needs.

Telephone system compatibility

To select a device for your line, provide the telephone model and any adapter or business phone system details. Compatibility with a VoIP service, PBX or desk phone must be confirmed for the actual interface and the selected product.

For GSM listening in the United States, request confirmation of the supplied version, supported cellular technology and carrier compatibility. UHF reception depends on the chosen transmitter, antenna, receiver and operating environment; consult the product specifications for range information.

Need help selecting your model? Open a product above and use its inquiry option to request pricing and availability. Include your telephone system details, whether you need call audio or combined call-and-room audio, and any recording requirements.

Receivers and recording accessories

Complete your telephone monitoring system with compatible audio receivers and transceivers and digital voice recorders. Ask which accessories are supplied with the selected model and which need to be ordered separately.

Landline Telephone Bugs: Product Questions

Select a model according to your telephone interface, audio source and recording requirements. The range includes series, parallel and induction devices, plus models for combined call-and-room audio. Send your telephone system details through a product inquiry for help selecting a suitable configuration.

Open the product page for your chosen model and use its inquiry option. Include the model code, quantity and any receiver or recording requirements so the request can cover the complete system.

Package contents depend on the model and supplied configuration. Check the product details and confirm whether a receiver is included or needs to be ordered separately. The receiver must support the transmitter specifications.

The ENSTK-100D and ENSTK-050 provide both functions and switch automatically according to handset status. The ENKPL-T serves a different purpose: carrying room audio over telephone wiring to its receiver.

The EN-TELREC records locally to microSD storage and supports WAV files and loop recording. A separate telephone transmitter system can provide recording through a suitable receiver or external recorder. Request the recording configuration you need with your product inquiry.

Several models use power from the telephone line. The ENPTK-063 induction transmitter uses two AA batteries. Consult the selected product page for its power requirements and operating conditions.

Compatibility depends on the actual telephone interface and product. Provide the phone model and any adapter or PBX details before ordering so the selected device can be checked against your system.

The ENPTK-100D is listed with encrypted digital UHF transmission. Check the individual product specifications and request the matching receiver. Digital encoding alone does not establish that a device uses encryption.

The EN-TELREC live listening function requires compatible cellular service. Before ordering for the United States, request confirmation of the supplied version, its supported cellular technology and carrier compatibility.

Request compatible receivers and recording accessories with the transmitter you choose. Specify whether you need live listening, saved audio or both, and confirm the package contents and accessory availability in your inquiry.
