| Together with an application-specific software package, the operator
has the ability to survey, analyze, and monitor several celluar
standards, inclouding GSM, CDMA, PHS, AMPS, DAMPS, NAMPS , as
well as various trunked radio formats. The programmale nature
of the system allows for new standards to be impblemented as
software upgrades.
The RFU is configured by the IPU over RS-232 and is tunable over
the frequency range of 400-500 MHz and 800-1000 MHz(coverage
of 1700-2000 MHz is available as an option) . It has two independently
tunable IF outputs, each with 25 MHz of bandwidth. The RFU
is packaged in a 1-3/4" high rackmount chassis.
The IPU contains a Pentium single-board computer and
the Applied Signal Technology B104D/B104P card digitizes up
to four separate IF inputs, each with up to 25 MHz of bandwidth,
and feeds a bank of B104P processor cards. Each B104P combined
two dual-tuner chips with two TMS320C50 DSP chipsto provide
four channels of processing Up to three B104P cards can be
combined in a single system for a total of 12 channels of
processing. baseband DSP chips, allowing a witches on each
B104P allow access to any of the four IF data streams in any
combination. the IPU is packaged in a 3-1/2" high rackmount
chassis.

| Receiver Status Window: |
| From the Receiver Status window the operator
can configure each available receiver for mode of operation as well
as view current parameters and other data specific to mobile users.
From here the operator may monitor a voice session, add entries to
the database, and automatically assign receivers to follow control
and voice channels. |
| Report Generator windows: |
| The Report Generator allows the operator to implement a search on one
or all activity log files based on the information provided
in this window. The search range may be set by date and time
with start and stop settings, or by specified receiver numbers.
The operator may then specify what parameters are included
in the search. Results are loaded into the View Activity window. |
