Ultrasonic Interference for Microphones
OMNI-JAM is designed to help protect confidential conversations in meeting rooms, sales offices, and project spaces. It generates randomized ultrasonic signals in the 25.5–26.5 kHz band to interfere with susceptible microphones in audio recorders, listening devices, smartphones, and cameras.
Effectiveness depends on the microphone, distance, placement, and room conditions. Audio interference does not prevent a camera from recording images, and the device is not a guarantee against every recording system.
