The SNIPER-OPTIC device is a kind of laser active detection system that uses the "cat's eye" effect to locate a sniper by exploring and finding the scope of the viewfinder. Therefore it works on optical principles and can pinpoint the sniper location before he has a chance to act.
This system, successfully used in the field of anti-terrorism and military for the active prevention of attacks, is ideal for border and perimeter security. As well as for VIPs protection or meetings with a high confidentiality degree and importance. It can also be used as a laser night vision device.
In typical weather conditions of visibility it can even reach up to 10 km away. The detection distance of the φ24 mm caliber sniper's sight can exceed 1500 meters; while the night vision distance, in clear weather conditions, the identification distance, for example of the target, can exceed 300 meters.
