The power line carrier ENKPL-S audio bug is based on a system designed for audio monitoring operations and the transmission of audio data collected through subcarrier frequency on 220Vac@50Hz electric network wires. The transmission unit is equipped with an external microphone and cables for connection to the 220V mains. Power line communication (PLC) technology uses the ectrical network subcarrier frequency values for modulation and transmission of audio channel, therefore, no radio frequency broadcasting, but a modulated transmission on the wires of the current.
Up to three transmitters can be placed in a single station, each operating on a different frequency. The power line bug transmitter is connected directly in parallel to the 220V cables, in apartments, offices, etc. at any point and without polarity, using the same voltage to be powered.
The receiver, on the other hand, is a separate module equipped with cables for the mains connection, as well as external connectors for headphones, recorder and power supply. Volume control, tuning selector and ON/OFF switch are located on the front panel.
The power line carrier ENKPL-S system is suitable for eavesdropping in places where radio frequency transmission is compromised by objective conditions and in any case even for very long time audio monitoring. In fact, since it have no batteries it can continuously work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, as long as it is connected to voltage.
