Contact probes and amplifier in one unit

MMS-ST is a professional stereo contact microphone for monitoring speech and other sounds transmitted through walls, ceilings and floors. Its integrated dual probes pick up surface vibrations, and the built-in amplifier feeds the signal to the audio outputs.

The combined design measures 140 × 34 × 46 mm. Audio pickup depends on the material, structural thickness and contact between the probes and the surface.

Simultaneous listening and external recording

Two 3.5 mm stereo outputs allow headphones and an external recorder to remain connected together. The operator can monitor live audio while retaining a recording for later review. The DIGICELL portable recorder is a recommended recording option.

The unit uses one 9 V battery, type 006P, 6F22 or 6LR61, and weighs 260 g including the battery. Guaranteed battery runtime is at least 50 hours.
