Each installation is built around that device and preserves its original controls. A recorder fitted to your remote

This is a custom installation service. You provide the remote, typically a spare that matches the one already in use. We fit a miniature recording circuit inside it while retaining the original remote-control functions.

Car key fobs, gate openers, garage door remotes and TV remotes are among the formats we can assess. The final configuration depends on the space and power available in the individual device.

Recording modes and file management

The MEMS microphone captures nearby speech and room audio. Choose continuous recording, a schedule or voice activation. A dedicated app provides access to recordings over Bluetooth.

Audio quality is selectable, and storage management includes available-space monitoring and loop recording. Live listening can be managed separately from local recording, with persistent connections or scheduled synchronization. Access and transfers use authentication and encryption.

Bluetooth listening and Internet access

Bluetooth supports local listening and management. For access over the Internet, the installation needs a dedicated Wi-Fi/LTE gateway with an Internet connection.

The gateway relays live audio and files and allows settings to be changed remotely. Gateway configuration and supply are agreed as part of the quote.

Battery life depends on the installation

The recording circuit draws power from the remote’s own battery. Runtime depends on battery capacity and how the system is used: recording, standby, live listening and file transfers have different power requirements. Battery life is therefore assessed for the chosen configuration rather than stated as a single figure for every remote.

3. Ship your remote

Once the work is agreed, send us the remote. Customers typically supply a matching spare; duplication and pairing requirements should be settled before shipping.

4. We install the recording circuit

The module is fitted to the remote you supplied. The installation is adapted to its available space and power source.

5. Configuration and testing

We check the original controls, recording functions and agreed connections before return. Instructions cover file access and recording settings.

6. Receive your modified remote

We ship the completed remote back to you for use in place of your original. Turnaround time and shipping arrangements are specified in the quote.
