Direct Collar-to-Handheld Tracking

RF-GPS-TRACKER combines a GPS-equipped dog collar with a handheld RF receiver. The collar determines its coordinates and transmits them directly to the handheld, where you can check the dog’s position on the LCD screen.

Built for Areas Without Cell Service

The radio link operates independently of cellular networks. That makes the system useful for hunting and animal tracking in rural areas where phone coverage is patchy or unavailable. GPS provides the location; radio carries that information back to you.

Long-Range Radio Communication

The system offers up to 70 km (approximately 43 miles) of radio range in open terrain. Terrain, obstacles and reception conditions affect the usable distance. GPS coordinates also let you work in areas that are not shown in detail on maps.

Updates That Match the Activity

Select automatic location updates every 3, 5 or 8 seconds, or every 1, 2 or 3 minutes. Short intervals give you more frequent position reports while the dog is moving. Longer intervals reduce power consumption when frequent updates are less important.

Keep Collars Registered Between Outings

The handheld stores up to 999 collar registrations. Select a collar to view and manage it, then switch to another as needed. This lets you retain multiple collars in the same unit without repeating registration for every outing; tracking is managed one collar at a time.

Hunting Functions and Rechargeable Power

Location is only part of the picture when working with hunting dogs. RF-GPS-TRACKER also includes functions for dogs on point and dogs barking while stationary, helping you follow activity as well as position.

Pointing and Stationary Barking

The pointing functionA function for identifying when a pointing dog holds a stationary point during a hunt. supports work with pointing breeds. The stationary-barking functionA function for a dog barking while remaining in one place, useful in activities such as wild boar hunting. is useful in situations such as wild boar hunting. Both complement the location information on the handheld.

Collar Battery Life

With GPS updates every 3 minutes, the collar provides approximately 80–90 hours under ideal conditions. Actual runtime varies with use and settings. More frequent reports increase power consumption, so the update interval can be adjusted to suit each outing.

USB-Rechargeable Handheld

The handheld runs for up to 30 hours under ideal conditions; actual runtime varies with use. Its built-in lithium battery recharges through USB, making it convenient to charge at home or in a vehicle with a suitable USB power source. The collar also has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery and has no external on/off buttons.

Navigate to Known Coordinates

Enter a known GPS position into the handheld to guide yourself toward that location. This is useful for meeting a field team, returning to a designated point or reaching the known location of an asset.
