Full description
VHF/UHF communication and AM/FM reception
VXERRE pairs a dual-band VHF/UHF transmitter with an AM/NFM/WFM receiver covering 0.5–999 MHz. Use it for compatible two-way radio links, then switch to receive frequencies saved in memory, including the 108–137 MHz aviation AM band.
Transmit power is selectable at 300 mW, 1 W, 2.5 W or 5 W. Microphone level is adjustable, with a choice of 5 or 2.5 kHz transmit deviation. The IPX7 rating covers immersion to 1 meter for 30 minutes under the specified conditions.
Keep your channels organized
Store up to 1,000 channels with alphanumeric labels and use VFO, memory, PMS or dual-watch scanning to monitor your selections. The radio supports 50 CTCSS tones and 104 DCS codes.
A channel counter displays a transmitter’s frequency within the preset band. ARTS and automatic emergency identification (EAI) calling round out the radio’s monitoring and communication features.
