The MEGA EAR parabolic microphone, designed and assembled at the Endoacustica Europe laboratories, involves a highly reflective parabolic dish, an omnidirectional microphone, a preamplifier and a headphones for real time listening, in addition you can connect to it a voice recorder to record intercepted conversations.

Sound waves picked up by the parabolic microphone properly oriented, hit your dish and are conveyed into the rear center where the audio is concentrated and directed into the omnidirectional microphone. In this way, the audio signals received, are amplified compared with the result that you would have with a normal directional microphone. This element not only amplifies sounds, but “select” signals, deleting unwanted noises, coming from other directions. So the parabolic dish isolates the sound carried by perpendicular waves to the direction getting professional results.

The dish is made of polyethylene: a transparent material, waterproof, UV resistant and very durable. It’s an instrument built to last and to be used always at its fullest capability. The reflective surface it’s completely smooth with a focal length of 4’’, ideal for wide range interceptions.

The microphone is an active condenser that utilize a 9V battery (included), able to ensure weeks of operation. The microphone is designed to be utilized with several device of recording or audio amplification that accept input by an ordinary microphone.
