With its marked directionality, high sensitivity and selectivity, the EN-SH89 professional microphone finds ideal use in many different shooting and listening situations from a distance. It has a very narrow directional angle which makes it particularly suitable for picking up sounds coming from a specific direction. The operator can point it at the desired sound source and listen to voices and noises.
The technical features of this professional microphone allow you to always get excellent results both indoors, such as television studios or theaters, and in more "difficult" environments such as filmmaking locations, ambiental/naturalistic shooting stage, sporting events etc.
The particular care taken in the design and implementation of this remote listening system made it possible to compensate, in a really effective way, the characteristic lack of response at the highest frequencies typical of this category of directional microphones. At the same time, immunity from wind disturbances, mechanical vibrations, background noise, etc. was maintained at the highest levels. Moreover, the EN-SH89 professional microphone is also equipped with two filters, selectable at choice, which allow to further “fine tune” the sound quality.
The EN-SH89 professional microphone is about 54 cm long and weighs only 195 g. Having standard dimensions, connectors and hooks, it can be combined with most accessories on the market today. The dedicated preamplifier can operate both with battery (6 AA batteries) and with the special mains adapter supplied.
